  • Freestone Mortgage is built from the ground up to be financially efficient, all in the aim of being able to lower the cost of home ownership. We can’t legally say that we’re the cheapest option out there, but we’ll compete with any offer out there.

  • You need to be really careful when evaluating a mortgage offer. There are lots of ‘teaser rates’ out there that look nice upfront, but you’ll have to pay thousands in extra fees. I can help walk you through an offer and show you where you might be paying too much.

  • Rates may be more of a commodity, but service is certainly not. A low-cost online lender may seem great upfront, but when you have an issue, they give you an 800-number to a call center rather than a person who knows your situation intimately. With Freestone you get me any time of day, and a small support team that will fight for you all the way, all with rates that are competitive. 

  • As early as possible! Buying a house is an emotional process, and it’s easy to get sucked into scrolling Zillow or even touring homes. It’s best to have a conversation with me before you get your heart set on a home that is more than you can afford. Start early so you know exactly what your home budget is and don’t waste time!

  • The basics are: a copy of your photo ID, W-2’s, 1099’s or tax returns (if you are self-employed), two months of bank statements or other assets. Others may be needed based on your situation, but those are the first steps.

  • We can get you pre-approved in as little as a day if you have all your docs in a row! 🦆
